Legal treatment. Only for new components. It does not change the weight of the part, and dimensions vary by only a few microns. Permanent effect for the whole service life of the part.

What is included

• Treatment of the exhaust flange, the manifold between the cylinder and the exhaust.

A coating inside the exhaust flange keeps the gases hotter and the temperature even along the whole exhaust duct, combined with a surface finish designed to help the speed of the resonance waves and a special treatment to amplify and stabilise the resonance effect across the whole torque range of the engine.

After the treatment the exhaust flange changes colour: on the outside it tends towards purple, like an exhaust that has already been used. This is normal, and it is the sign that the treatment has been carried out.
