Which plate should I get for my engine?
There is one plate for each category, universal for all engine brands. If you race in Mini, get the Mini engine plate; in OKN, OKJ and OK Senior the OK engine plate; in KZ the KZ engine plate; with a Rotax the Rotax engine plate.
Rok and BMB will come later. If you have any doubt about your engine, write to us before ordering.
Is the plate legal in racing?
Yes. It is legal and usable in racing, and has already been used in several races.
It is a racing component: maximum life 400 litres of fuel, under optimal conditions of use.
What is in the box and how do I fit it?
In the box you will find the plate, the mounting bolts and the instructions with the correct tightening torques.
Fit it with the bolts and the tightening torques given in the instructions. Then hit the track.
Why does the engine go faster with the plate?
On the dyno, serious engine builders mount the engine on tubes that are free to move: that way it works without being held back. On the kart, instead, the engine is bolted to a chassis that twists and vibrates in every corner.
The proprietary-formula technopolymer of the plate damps vibrations and leaves the engine free to work, just like on the dyno. A good driver feels it straight away.
How do the treatments work?

We work on the part within 2 working days of its arrival at our warehouse. We ship it back with GLS, delivery in Italy in 24-48 hours. All the details are on the How the treatments work page.
Which engines and categories are the treatments for?
They are universal: Mini, OK, KZ and the other kart categories, with any engine brand. Piston and head dome get a proprietary-formula surface ceramic coating that reflects heat: the gases stay hotter and the metal works with less stress.
For the exhaust and U-bend there is the Exhaust treatment, with Thermal Barrier and Resonance together. The anti-friction treatment for gearbox and primary drive cannot be ordered from the website yet: for information write to us. Legal treatment.
How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Shipping is free for orders of €60 or more, in all zones: the total after any discounts is what counts. Below €60 it costs €9.99 in Italy and €14.99 in Europe (European Union and Switzerland).
We ship with GLS from our warehouse in Savignano sul Rubicone: in Italy delivery takes 24-48 hours. For treatments, shipping the part to us is at your expense.
You can also pick up for free at our premises in Savignano sul Rubicone: choose "Pickup" at checkout and we will write to you when the order is ready.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes, to Italy, to all European Union countries (except the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla) and to Switzerland; the rest of the world will come later. Outside the EU, for example in Switzerland, import duties and VAT are at your expense and you pay them to the courier on delivery.
Treatments can also be ordered from abroad: you ship the part to Savignano, and the shipping costs, both ways, are at your expense.
How do returns and refunds work?
Products: if you buy as a consumer you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw, without giving any reason. Write to racetechitaly@gmail.com with the order number; you then have another 14 days to ship the product back to us, with the return costs at your expense. The product must be returned intact and with everything that was in the box: if it has been fitted or used, any loss of value is at your expense. We refund you within 14 days of when you notify us of the withdrawal, using the same payment method.
Treatments: you can cancel the order until we have started working on the part. Once the treatment has been carried out, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
Product arrived damaged: write to us within 7 days of delivery with a few photos, and we will replace it or refund you, shipping included. The 24-month legal guarantee still applies. All the details are in the Refund policy.
