Legal treatment. Only on new parts, never on used ones. It does not change the weight of the part, and dimensions vary by only a few microns. It does not expire: it lasts as long as the part.
Anti-friction treatment
A surface treatment with a hardness of 800 Vickers, comparable to that of treated gear steel, which reduces friction between surfaces working in contact. On the gearbox, gears engage sooner and shifts become faster; with less friction less energy is wasted and the gearbox runs a few degrees cooler. On the primary gear pair, friction and wear decrease and the engine turns more freely.
Important: treated parts must always run in oil. Without lubrication the treatment comes off.
After the treatment the surfaces are grey.

How it works

- Ship the gearbox or the primary gear pair to: Race Tech Italy, Via delle Fornaci Etrusche 5, 47039 Savignano sul Rubicone (FC), Italy. Put the order number inside the box.
- It comes back treated with GLS, delivery in 24-48 h throughout Italy.
